LOVE Audrey Hepburn

My favourite movie of all time has to be Breakfast at Tiffanys. I believe this is Audrey Hepburn’s best movie. To be honest, I don’t actually know what it is about the movie that makes it my favourite over all the others. I love the story line, love the extra character of Mr Yunioshi, love the leading man, but I can say that about most movies. I think it’s because of Audrey’s classic style that is put together so perfectly by the Givency dresses and the jewellery that complements perfectly but it still looks effortless. There is no doubt that this movie created her to become the style icon she is known as today!

Recently when I watched the movie for the millionth time, I noticed that apart from her orange coat and one pink dress, Holly is always wearing the same time – a little black dress! It is the jewellery she pairs with it that makes her so elegantly chic.

RIP – Screen Icon & Hollywood Legend – Elizabeth Taylor

Just a few weeks ago Jeminee was talking to us girls in the office about how much she loves Elizabeth Taylor. Her iconic beauty, demeanour and of course her exquisite love affair with jewellery! We were all inspired and our latest collections depict her style.

I was updating my latest facebook update when suddenly I saw the news of the legend (Elizabeth Taylor) has left this world. I told everyone in the office and we all took a deep sigh.

As we mourn the death of one of the most famous cinema icons: English-born American actress, Elizabeth Taylor. After over 70 years in the film industry, she died on Wednesday, the 23.March.2011 at the age of 79.

Only one day after, the eight times married icon was buried in a private Jewish ceremony, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Elizabeth Taylor was a prestigious spokeswoman for Aids research and advocated for the general humanitarian charity work.

We admire not only her incredible talent for acting, we also have to acknowledge her talent for designing art, clothing, furniture and especially Jewellery. Her passion for elaborate and glamorous jewellery was incredible.

On Friday 11th March, Japan was hit by a record-breaking 8.9 magnitude earthquake. This was followed by a massive tsunami that devastated much of the coastline. Hundreds of people have been killed, thousands are injured, and more are lost without their loved ones.
